All children deserve an experience like this at least once in their lifetimes. This is a day that is ALL about them - celebrating them, pampering them, and making them feel like a celebrity. We pull out all of the stops for Editorial Sessions, including a complimentary in-home consultation with wardrobe styling services, professional hair styling (and makeup when age appropriate), and the VIP treatment at the studio. Editorial Sessions are highly stylized and thematic, photographed to be right at home in the pages of any of the top fashion magazines, often with custom sets and more lavish styling. With how much time and creativity is poured into these premium experiences, we only take a very limited number of bookings for Editorial Sessions each year.

  • Editorial sessions are typically a minimum of four hours, but can go longer depending on the concept we're executing. We can also shorten them a bit to accommodate the age/thresholds of younger children.

  • There are so many possibilities for what we can do with our time in the studio together: build sets, involve whimsical props, play with fantasy makeup, or even travel back in time with vintage styling! If you want your kids to have this experience, but don’t have a concept in mind, you can leave it all up to us and our imaginations and we can definitely take care of you! We have a million and one ideas bouncing around in our brains that we can pull from.

  • This can vary a little bit seasonally, but as a rule, you'll want to inquire about booking your session about 3 months ahead of the date you'd actually like to have the session on. Editorial Sessions take more advance planning and preparation than simpler sessions, and we only take limited bookings for them, so the earlier the better!

  • Of course! If there is a vision you already have in mind, we’d love to bring it to life for you! We love incorporating things like children's interests, favorite colors, and mom's decor aesthetic when planning out editorial portrait sessions.

  • This experience can be so wonderful for children of all ages, from little ones to teenagers/high school seniors. But, we do recommend waiting until they have the threshold for a longer day in the studio. We’ve had kids as young as 3 years old adore every minute!

    For younger children, we create a whimsical shoot where their dreams are made reality. Fanciful sets, props, and playful posing. For older children and high school seniors, we love watching their confidence soar as we help them channel their inner supermodel. The concept and style will always be age-appropriate and bespoke.

  • We love getting to flex our creativity and offer our clients an experience that they truly can't receive anywhere else, one that is typically reserved for professional models and celebrities.

Every opportunity that I’m given to get creative makes my little artist heart so happy and results in such a fun, unique experience for my clients. While I love all the work that my clients and I create together (including my simpler, more straightforward portrait sessions), I really thrive when I get to photograph my most inspired work. While editorial portraits will definitely look incredible on your social media feeds, this sort of artwork is truly at its most magnificent as a statement piece on your wall or in one of my iconic, luxe albums. Everyone who visits your home will be in awe of just how beautiful they are.
